Dotclear 2 is a really good blog engine, light, powerfull, simple to use, relaible once well installed. Do everything needed for bloging experience. I learned to love it. Now I can say that it is good enough for me. I recommand for first experience. Try it is like adopt it. Perhpas with less plugin as WP or Joomla, but light is right, and Dotclear 2 do the job perfectlly.

Have been using Dotclear since 2008. Never failed, no update mess up, no database conflict, works like a charm. If you are looking for a modern blog software that provides the essentials in (blog)life, that doesn't change with every update and that has many plugins installed by default, then give Dotclear a try.

I have been using Dotclear for years now and have been very happy with it. Easy to setup and use. For simple blogging you can't go wrong with Dotclear.
