Overview

This guide explains how to make a language pack for Softaculous.

Copy English Folder

Copy the english folder in your Softaculous Core located at :

/path/to/softaculous/enduser/languages/english/

TO :

/path/to/softaculous/enduser/languages/YOUR_NEW_LANGUAGE/

e.g. in cPanel, the language folder for english is located at /usr/local/cpanel/whostmgr/docroot/cgi/softaculous/enduser/languages/english/

Then start translating each file in the new folder.

Setting Default Language

To change the default language pack in Softaculous go to Softaculous Admin Panel > Settings. 
There you will see a drop down to choose the default language. Save the settings after you change your language.

Send the language pack to us

If you send the language pack to us we will include it in Softaculous after checking it thoroughly. It will be made available to all.
