We have launched SitePad 1.8.6 in the Stable branch.

1) [Task] The Sitepad plugin UI has been improved.
2) [Task] Added states for Sri Lanka country to the Kkart.
3) [Bug-Fix] In certain cases the pagination was not working properly in the Kkart shop page. This is fixed.

In the next version, we will try to enable caching for improving the website speed and also backup options. Many more features are also in the making for E-Commerce and blogging options.
Regards,

The SitePad Team

Sir apache mod_rewrite is enabled by default .

you can check using following command:

Coderoot > /usr/local/apps/apache/bin/httpd -M

I'm having an issue I'm not sure how to easily fix. The website I'm porting into Webuzo requires mod_rewrite. Whenever I drop a .htaccess file into the directory, it causes the server to stop serving all content and produce a 500 error. I've traced the problem to the following rules:
-------------------------------------------------
RewriteEngine on
RewriteCond %{SCRIPT_FILENAME} !-d
RewriteCond %{SCRIPT_FILENAME} !-f
RewriteRule ^([a-zA-Z0-9_-]+)$ index.php?r=$1 [L]
---------------------------------------------------

I'm wondering if it's because mod_rewrite is not enabled, but I haven't been able to figure out where to go to check/enable this.

Any assistance would be greatly appreciated!

Martin,
